How far is the bus that takes skiers to the slopes.
"The Lift" picks up a short block or so down the street from the lodge. The ride to the slopes is not bad at all.
Do you provide linens, towels and kitchen utensils?
Yes, the house will accommodate all your needs with plenty of everything you'll need for your stay
What summer activities are there?
The biking and hiking in the clean fresh crisp mountain air is unbelievable. The area is world renowned for it's trout fishing year around. Just walking around the neighborhood and spotting wildlife such as moose, deer and fox is a blast. There are more mountain roads open in the summer so the views from a nice drive in the car are breath taking. The Winter Park Resort has plenty of summer activities including miniature golf, hiking down the mountain and the very fun Alpine slide (similar to a water slide, but you ride a little plastic cart down the entire mountain. IT IS A BLAST).
Are there places to eat in Winter Park?
There are many very good restaurants in the area. My favorites are Deno's, Lost Boys and Hernando's Pizza.
Any night life in Winter Park?
You bet. There are a dozen or so bars in town ranging from sports bars to local hangouts.
How do we get around town for dinner, bars, grocery store etc?
The "Lift" service stops at the Safeway, just a mile or so from the lodge. The buses also stop all throughout the town. If you want to get a taxi, Home James is a taxi service providing large 4 wheel drive vans that can take you door to door in any weather. Airport Transportation: Home James is also your best bet for airport transportation.
How many individual bedrooms?
There are 7 bedrooms and a large bunk room. 7 families have comfortably stayed in the house. The couples stay in the bedrooms and the kids share the bunkroom.
How many separate beds are there?
4 kings, 1 queen, 5 doubles and 7 twins. There's also a futon couch in the bunk room.
Do you have Internet?
We provide high speed wireless internet, a color printer and a flat screen monitor.

Yes, the phone number is 970-726-8989. We will let you make domestic long distance calls at no additional charge.
